i found this old recording of "Forgetful" from when i was visiting NZ, way back in July 2011, we tried out this new tune i had written (originally called it "I forgot you" back then, (a contrafact of I Remember You).

pretty nostalgic so i thought I'd whack it up here!

the tunes' inspiration came from going to introduce Sydneys' great guitar dude - Carl Morgan to a friend of mine at the Sydney Jazz Festival (we were watching Kurt Rosenwinkel's band) and i went "this is....." and then totally forgot Carl's name for like 10 seconds hahaha and he had to say it himself, Hi i'm Carl... lol so embarrasing, anyway good idea for a tune so here it is.

recorded on a zoom device in Tom Dennison's bedroom!
